This is truly one of those days we would happily relive. We spent just over a year working closely with Emily and Dave along with their wonderful mothers to plan this very special weekend and it flew by in the blink of an eye. They are one of the sweetest, most genuine couples we have had the pleasure to know. Their smiles are contagious and their love is inspiring.

Everything was planned and executed to perfection. The weekend started with spa services in Destinations followed by a bridal party tea luncheon in Osteria Avanti before their Rehearsal Dinner in the cocktail area of Casa di Fiori. The early May landscaping around property blended seamlessly with their color palate of Antique Pink and Steel Blue. Their romantic ceremony was followed by a gorgeous reception complete with a dream team of vendors (see below). The after party took place at the Fire Pit complete with house-made salsa and guacamole in honor of their Cinco de Mayo wedding date. The weekend concluded with a grand brunch to say farewell to their family and friends.

Getting Ready

This pink building is the Ada Fisher Cottage, one of the original buildings built in 1867 when the property was a tobacco farm. The Ada Fisher Cottage is a large guest room with two queen beds and a ton of natural light.

The Ceremony

The ceremony was held by the fireplace in Casa di Fiori

The Reception

Cocktail Hour, complete with passed and stationary hors d' oeuvres, and an open bar of course, began immediately following the ceremony. Following cocktail hour the reception space was revealed and guests were seated for a five-course dinner.

The ceiling draping is the Bello Package by Shumaker and the gorgeous linen overlays were provided by Special Ocassions & Queen Street Linens.

Cake & Desserts

In addition to a gorgeous cake complete with polka dots and sugar flowers and a custom wooden topper, Emily and Dave's wedding reception featured our Warm Donut Bar & Gourmet European Pastry Table by La Terra, our exclusive on-site bakery.
